The UK’s largest IT graduate employer, FDM Group, has once again been honoured for its commercial excellence by receiving a bronze award for ‘Training Department of the Year’ at the 2012 Learning Awards.
The prestigious awards represent a benchmark for excellence throughout the learning industry and FDM is delighted to have received such high recognition for its training department.
FDM CEO, Rod Flavell, said “We are thrilled that our training department has been recognised as one of the best in the country by the Learning and Performance Institute. This is testament to the exceptional work of our training team who continually pursue innovative ways to develop our training offerings.”
FDM has supported IT graduates for over 21 years by offering a unique combination of industry centred training and real commercial experience through its two-year graduate programme.
FDM’s training department is responsible for transforming IT graduates into professional IT Consultants who represent FDM on technical placements with one of the company’s 200 clients across the globe.
To date FDM has launched the IT careers of over 3,000 graduates and works hard to help tackle the IT skills shortage worldwide through its dynamic business model.
The annual awards recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence in learning and development and FDM’s award-winning training department has excelled in these areas for the past two decades.
With the Learning Awards receiving a record number of applications this year, FDM’s success is even more impressive.
Rod Flavell continued saying, “Competing amongst the likes of Barclaycard and Ernst & Young highlights the exponential growth that FDM has experienced in recent years, which has firmly established us as the 11th fastest growing company in Europe.”
