On FDM Group’s 20th anniversary, the company aims to raise in excess of £20,000 for The Prince’s Trust, by taking part in their Himalayan Action Challenge; a multi-activity adventure through the unparalleled scenic beauty of the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal.
As part of our increased commitment to being socially responsible, FDM will be sending a team of six employees on an adventure of a lifetime! They will be travelling to the Himalayas in October 2010, to compete against other teams in a physical challenge involving hiking, cycling and rafting.
The team includes: Henry Duddy (Head of Consultancy), Simon Jowett (Account Manager), Joey Gartell (Performance Analyst), Sergio Malatesta (FDM IT Consultant), Ndidi Alaneme (IT Trainer) and Sayantanee Chakraborty (FDM IT Consultant). They have a lot of hard work ahead of them with a variety of fundraising initiatives and an intensive training programme to get in shape for the event. We aim to get our FDM employees involved in helping to fundraise as well as other stakeholders and the local community, over the next few months.

The team has to raise £3,500 per person, all of which will help young people to progress into work, training or education. As a leading employer in the UK, FDM takes pride in supporting this cause, which directly links to our own mission of developing the IT careers of professionals globally, through enabling work and training opportunities.
