Mr. Rod Flavell, FDM founder and CEO has reached the finalist stage of the Sussex Business Awards for ‘Sussex Business Person of the Year’.
Last year FDM won the award for ‘Sussex Company of the Year’, which was a significant achievement, yet we are extremely pleased this year to recognise Rod as one of the top business individuals in the county. FDM Group was born in Brighton and remains the location of our head office over 20 years later, despite having opened 6 other offices worldwide, which makes the Sussex Business Awards extremely personal for the company, and in particular to Mr. Flavell. Being nominated for ‘Sussex Business Person of the Year’ is a real acknowledgement in all that has been accomplished (as highlighted in the Argus article also featuring Rod’s picture).
In addition to this award FDM has also reached the finalist stages of 3 other categories; ‘International Business of the Year’, ‘Best Employer in Sussex’ and ‘Sussex Company of the Year’ – hopefully we can retain the latter for 2010 as well!
Competition is stiff so keep your fingers crossed for Friday 6th November when the ceremony will take place at the Grand Hotel in Brighton – we will keep you posted!
