IT Training Awards (IITT) – Silver Winner 2010

FDM Group triumphed at the IT Training Awards yet again this year, named silver winner for ‘Training Department of the Year 2010’. FDM demonstrated consistent high quality and innovation, which is key to winning the award. This is what the judges from Pardo Fox, Corollis and the IITT had to say:

“The judges were impressed with the rigour of its selection process, the strong business management and the excellent focus on quality delivery of separately tailored professional programmes. Evidence provided clearly shows a sound and growing business performance.” An excellent achievement once again.

Sussex Business Awards – Winner 2009/10

The Sussex Business Awards celebrated their 21st year at The Grand Hotel on Friday 6th November and for the first time in over a decade, 3 awards have been won by the same company. Yes that’s right, FDM was crowned “International Business of the Year”, “Best Employer in Sussex” and FDM’s CEO (Rod Flavell) achieved the prestigious status of “Business Person of the Year”. Once again, FDM exceeded expectations in what really was, a truly important evening for all businesses throughout Sussex.

BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Awards – Medallist 2009

For the first time this year, the BCS IT Industry Awards and Computing Awards for Excellence have merged, creating a platform for the entire IT profession to showcase and celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.

Having reached the finalists stage, FDM was competing nationally with 9 others for ‘Best IT Services Supplier of the Year’. One winner and two medallists were announced on the 12th November at Battersea Park Events Arena. FDM is proud to have been awarded a medal for our excellence in IT services nationwide.

BAHBA – Best Place to Work 2009

Home to FDM’s first office and current headquarters is the cosmopolitan city of Brighton and FDM is one of the leading corporate employers in the city. The anticipated Brighton & Hove Business Awards (BAHBAs) held on Friday 9th October at the Hilton Metropole introduced and crowed the business stars of 2009. And yes, FDM won yet another award for ‘Best Place to Work’!

IITT Training Department of the Year 2009

The Institute of IT Training hosts the annual IT Training Awards to recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within IT training.

FDM Group was crowned ‘Training Department of the Year 2009′, sponsored and presented by IBM. This is testament to the expertise and knowledge of our Trainers, as well as the quality training provided by the FDM Academy Programme. Our unique approach combines training with employment, focusing on the future careers of our trainees. FDM was praised for having a robust business model, demonstrating true passion for both the training provided and the services delivered.

Sussex Business Awards - Company of the Year 2008/09

Born and bred in Sussex, FDM is one of the leading corporate employers in the city of Brighton and we are delighted to have won the most prestigious award in the south - ‘Sussex Company of the Year’.

British Computing Society Awards - Finalist

The British Computer Society (BCS), is the leading body for those working in IT and we are delighted to announce that one of FDM’s IT consultants has reached the final stage of the awards. This achievement highlights the quality and success of FDM’s training model, as well as the commitment and dedication of our IT consultants. Other finalists worked at: IBM, Capgemini, Procter & Gamble, amongst many other blue-chip companies.

Computing Awards for Excellence - Finalist

The Computing Awards for Excellence, now in their 16th year, recognise and reward the very highest standards of individual and collective achievement. The Computing Awards are the most sought after awards in the industry, recognising excellence and exceptional performance within the IT sector.

FDM Group was short listed in the final stages of the Computing Awards for Excellence 2008 - competing with a number of international companies. It is a significant achievement to have been shortlisted as a finalist for the ‘IT Services Supplier of the Year’ award.
