IT and business training excellence
We pride ourselves in our ability to provide a range of commercial benefits for our client’s throughout all stages of the project lifecycle.
Here at FDM we can provide trainers of the highest calibre, who are highly experienced in both training and the technologies they deliver. All trainers are certified by product vendors, and as well as possessing a wealth of "academic" knowledge, they are selected for their extensive business and "real-world" experience, offering a powerful combination of talents.
Using our remote e-learning platform we can retrain your staff in a number of critical areas without disruption to core business. A number of clients have benefited from this particular service, including SunGuard.
We specialise in the design, development, delivery and support of tailored training courses to suit each client's learning and development needs. Our courses will not merely train the tailored functionality, but also the business processes that underpin the use of the system.
We believe that the most effective training encompasses both the ‘how?' and the ‘why?' of your system. The list below outlines the FDM training project life-cycle:
Information Gathering
Understanding the objectives of the programme, the underlying business processes and the needs of the end-user allows us to lay strong foundations on which to build a customised, business specific portfolio of courses for you.
Courseware Design & Development
The building of bespoke syllabuses, exercises and training guides in a modular format allows us to take a “made to order” approach to courses for each job type and role and not submit your delegates to a "sheep-dip" style of training.
Pilot
Each course will be delivered to a strategic audience. Open and constructive feedback from the highest level to the ‘hands-on' level will allow us to revisit the training development plan to add any refinements.
Delivery
Delivery methods are available to suit each client's preference and budget: on-site, off-site, on-line learning as well as remote learning.
Support
Post-training support can take the form of floor-walking, surgeries, workshops, seminars, one-to-one training sessions, and "lunch-and-learn".
Report
A reporting process will be agreed with you at the outset of the project and will be structured to take into account the level and criticality of activities being undertaken. All reports will be meaningful and accurate.
Transfer
We strongly believe in a team approach to training. Knowledge transfer empowers internal trainers to continue ongoing learning and development.
