We also host ‘Women in IT Advantage Sessions’ to directly benefit female college graduates, undergraduates and other women seeking to break into the IT industry.

    Only 24% of STEM professionals in the US are women. We offer a support network to help and mentor our female employees so that they can progress in a male dominated industry in a bid to tackle this shortage.

    Female Champions

    FDM Female Champions act as role models to women both internally and externally and are available to mentor all employees. They also organize networking sessions and workshops that are open to all.

    FDM’s Chief Operating Officer, Sheila Flavell, is featured in Cranfield School of Management’s prestigious ‘100 Women to Watch’ list, which aims to encourage a sustained board, media and government focus on accelerating the representation of women in executive and non-executive roles.

    We signed the CEO Statement of Support for the United Nations Women’s Empowerment Principles (UNWEP), sealing our commitment to promoting gender diversity in the workplace and wider business community.

    We joined the Think, Act, Report (T.A.R) initiative, which is a UK government campaign to drive greater transparency on gender employment issues.
