- Cost Saving: When companies look to upgrade their software and move into the modern digital era, cost will always be a factor. Since robots normally cost less than the average human wage, RPA is a great option when costs are a concern. However, this doesn’t mean that long-standing employees who have worked for the company for years and years should expect their P45 in the mail. In fact, RPA is used to complete tedious and mundane tasks, easily extinguishing these responsibilities from the roles and duties of humans. By 2025, Grand View Research expects RPA to have a net worth of nearly $3.11 billion. This substantial increase from a valuation of $597.5 million in 2018 shows significant growth over a small time period.
- Improved customer service: As mentioned above, the introduction of RPA into the workplace will automate and offload manual, repetitive tasks. This can include on-boarding processes and other similar repetitive tasks, which can be completed by robots in a matter of minutes and perhaps even eliminate the need for filing and paperwork in some roles. From situations including an employee address change, to hiring a new employee and setting up new network settings and accounts, to the re-issuing of a contract; RPA would ensure all data is up to date and accurately sent in real-time across all systems.
- Speed and Efficiency: A major goal of every business is to ensure that the product or service is delivered, both timely and accurately, to the client or customer. Businesses that use RPA are able to deliver their products and services at more efficient and impressive speeds, since robots can complete the necessary tasks four times faster than the average person.
- Improved Analytics: In addition to a reduced workload, the introduction of RPA to a company can reduce manual errors, leading to higher quality data and more reliable insights. Additionally, all automated tasks are monitored and recorded, leaving an audit trail for stakeholders.
