The Digital Skills Gap – APAC Edition: As the demand for people with advanced technical skills is rising rapidly across the Asia Pacific region, the candidates willing to spend time developing technical skills will have the upper hand in landing some of the most interesting, challenging and dynamic roles in the tech industry.
Keeping Up with the Tech Talk: Technology is driving the business of today, but do you understand all the terminology? What is “The Cloud”? How does AI and machine learning impact business and everyday life? Did you know being agile and preparing for a scrum doesn’t always relate to football? This workshop is your tech talk crash course and how it relates to you and businesses.
The Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): The vast majority of businesses rely on software to function, but how does this software get developed and who does what? In this workshop, we will be discussing the eight stages in the SDLC. We will explore the skills, roles and teams associated with each stage and the project methodologies used in businesses today. You will also hear from Alan Chan, a Senior QA Manager at Commonwealth Bank of Australia, where he will share his insight and experiences with the SDLC in a real world setting.
