FDM has a track record of success providing tailored offerings to suit specific client needs. In collaboration with the client, standard FDM training programs can be adapted to address specialised skill sets required by the client.
FDM can fully manage these tailored programs, from targeted recruitment and selection of candidates through to training and deployment on-site.
FDM’s DevOps engineers understand the importance of speed to market in software delivery and getting it right first time across the lifecycle of build, test, release and monitor.
All our software development consultants are trained in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) and can be trained in a range of additional tools (e.g. Chef, Puppet etc) and languages (e.g. Python, Ruby) to support your code pipeline.
Test automation engineers reduce the overhead of testing by building automation frameworks to do the work. FDM provides test automation training to its testing consultants as part of the core software testing training program. This includes modules in Core Java, Selenium WebDriver (with Java) and BDD framework using Cucumber.
In addition to this, FDM’s software development consultants can be upskilled in any of the modules covered by FDM’s core software testing training program so that they have the skillset required to support “dev in test” roles.
FDM can also conduct bespoke training in additional automation tools and frameworks based on client demand. These include Selenium WebDriver (with .NET), BDD framework using SpecFlow and SoapUI for testing both SOAP and RESTful services.
Robotic Process Automation (RPA) involves creating software as “digital workers” to handle a broad range of back office operations, freeing skilled human workers from data entry and other basic tasks. In the next decade RPA is predicted to move forward from simply replacing office processes to supporting actual decision making through increased use of AI, cognitive intelligence and machine learning.
FDM provides training approved by RPA software companies such as Blue Prism, UIPath and Thoughtonomy, supplementing our proven training in business and technology.
After completing an FDM program such as Business Analysis or completing a significant part of the Software Development program, FDM consultants transfer to a three week “boot camp” using the most appropriate RPA product to match the client need. Throughout the training consultants work on realistic projects designed by FDM and typically will complete an accreditation.
