Workshop #2: Customizing Data Structures with Java Collections

15th March
2 – 3pm EST

Collections are objects that group multiple elements into a single unit and are used in every programming language. This workshop looks at what you can do when Java’s collections functionality doesn’t meet your needs. Joshua will walk you through an example of creating and implementing your own data structure showing code used and comparing it with the existing standard collections. A must for those with a basic understanding of coding in Java.

Your host: Joshua Latta

Josh has been with FDM for 3 years and works as a Software Development Trainer, specializing in Java. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and has been a musician for 24 years.
