You have got your foot in the door with an interview, now here's the playlist to help you kick it wide open!
Our resident DJ (with the help of our wonderful recruitment team) has gathered a collection of songs that makes what we think to be the ultimate job interview playlist.
Don't just take our word for it - A study from Northwestern University shows that people who listened to "high powered" songs in a certain genre with a heavy bassline compared to "low powered" songs from the same genre which had less bassline felt more confident going into interviews.
Tracks such as 50 Cent's "In Da Club" and 2 Unlimited's "Get Ready For This" provided listeners the ability to feel powerful, dominant, and determined. It turns out jamming out to 50 Cent in the shower would mean you were more likely to crush those interview nerves and walk out feeling like you nailed it.
As well as compiling a list of bass heavy jams, the playlist includes 50+ tracks from a collective mix of genres including a few cheesy song title puns. These songs will make you feel like you're on top of the world and can conquer anything!
Our playlist features tracks such as:
- Eminem - Lose Yourself
- OutKast - Hey Ya
- Katy Perry - Roar
- The Rocky Theme Tune (because its the most uplifting song of all time)
- Katrina & The Waves - Walking On Sunshine
- James Brown - The Boss
- Rick Riss- Hustlin'
- Journey - Don't Stop Believing
- Dolly Parton - 9 to 5
- DJ Khaled - All I Do is Win
- Beyonce - Run The World (what playlist wouldn't be complete without a bit of bey?)
- Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child of Mine
- Pharrell Williams - Happy
- Fatman Scoop - Be Faithful
- Plus many more...
So without further ado we present to you: the ultimate job interview playlist
