Meet the New York Recruitment Team

FDM would not be the company it is without our recruitment teams, who offer support to those applying to join our Careers Program, answering any questions they may have and making sure they are in the best position to succeed. Read on to meet some of the incredible members of our New York recruitment team.

Graeme Butler - FDMGraeme Butler, US Recruitment Manager

“With my remit to expand and develop the US team, I find that evaluating candidates against ambition, energy and collaboration play a vital role in determining success when it comes to the recruitment team. Their clear ability to move their career forward, with a strict emphasis on ownership of their career whilst ensuring they can be a team player and collaborate, is essential to building a high performing team. I have already witnessed FDM’s continued ability to adapt. We conduct quarterly reviews on processes, success and failure of all stages of our recruitment cycle to fully understand what is working effectively. We also use data effectively, which provides best in class insight to not only develop our recruiters to be more effective in their roles, but supports our university/college business partners to shape their employability strategy as well.”

Take it from me… “Before applying to any organization, make sure you really deep dive and conduct thorough research into the company you could be joining. Do not rely on brand name alone. Many organizations who operate within the same sector have very different cultures; you need to find something which is a good match on both sides.”
