Over the past eight weeks, I have worked alongside FDM’s marketing team whilst undertaking various tasks and projects, which has provided me with a valuable work experience and a taste of the corporate world. Some of my tasks included carrying out market research, preparing reports and presentations, writing blogs and creating both internal and external communications.
I also had the opportunity to collaborate with several other FDM interns across the UK to deliver a group project. We presented potential solutions to senior management team members on ways to enhance the charity partnership between FDM and Anthony Nolan. We suggested ways to help raise awareness about the charity, and proposals to encourage sign-ups to the stem cell register through a variety of fundraisers.
