  • In recognition of our commitment to the Armed Forces community, FDM has formally signed the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. By signing this, we pledge to support HM Forces by upholding the Covenant’s key principles.

    Our Commitment
We seek to uphold the principles of the Armed Forces Covenant by:

    • Promoting the fact that we are an Armed Forces friendly organisation
    • Supporting the employment of Ex-Forces personnel
    • Actively participating in Armed Forces Day
    • Supporting employees who choose to be members of the Reserve Forces
    Our success

Since the launch of FDM’s Ex-Forces Programme, we have succeeded in sustaining our Covenant commitments:

    • Employing a team of ex-Forces personnel to run the Ex-Forces Programme
    • Attending all Career Fairs run by CTP and BFRS in the UK and Germany
    • Host Insight Days for personnel who have left or are leaving the Forces and are seeking a fulfilling second career in IT and business
    • Placed 100 Consultants in Project, Delivery and IT Management roles on our client sites
    • Nominated for the Armed Forces Business Awards and awarded the Certificate of Support from SaBRE in national recognition of our commitment to be a Supportive Employer of the Armed Forces’ Reserves
    • Awarded the Bronze Employer Recognition Scheme by the Ministry of Defence

FDM’s programme provides an excellent opportunity for Service Leavers like myself to gain the skills, qualifications and experience needed to get a foot hold in the industry.
