This International Women’s Day, FDM celebrates the pioneers powering our everyday—trailblazing women in tech who inspire the next generation. We’re also shining a light on FDM’s very own pioneers: the women whose everyday contributions reflect that same spirit of innovation and progress.

As a Cloud Architect, I’ve focused on designing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions to meet business needs. At the same time, I’ve facilitated agile practices as a Scrum Master, ensuring teams work collaboratively and effectively to deliver high-quality results.
In the future, I want to work on projects that involve designing and implementing AI-driven solutions, as well as leveraging automation to streamline processes and solve complex challenges. Whatever the industry, I want to contribute to creating systems that make a tangible impact.

FDM has developed a series of data-driven initiatives to address the challenges women face in tech, including mitigating unconscious bias, increasing representation, and closing the skills gap. By leveraging AI-powered training platforms and mentorship programmes, we provide women with the technical skills and real-world experience needed to succeed in an industry that lacks diversity.

I’m currently on client assignment, working on a project that focuses on digitising a significant number of contracts and creating a well-organised and user-friendly database. I’m analysing the accuracy of AI-based data extractions and suggesting improvements to enhance precision in the future. It’s a really rewarding assignment: I can see the real-world impact of AI and develop my skills further.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme is “Accelerate Action”, emphasising the importance of moving towards gender parity.
At FDM, we believe in the power of diversity, experience, and mindset: it’s what distinguishes us and drives our clients’ projects forward in unique ways.
Every day, we work to foster diversity, equity, and inclusion for a stronger tomorrow, in the workplace and beyond. We are actively focused on ensuring gender equality, with a specific focus on: creating net new talent; staff retention; and advancing career progression.
As a result of our ongoing efforts, 33% of our global workforce identify as women, and our mean gender pay gap now stands at –2.5% in favour of female employees.
International Women’s Day is the biggest women-focused fundraising day of the year. Find out how you can Accelerate Action with inspiration from the official website.
