What our placement students say

Erinne Bird
Assessment Centre Coordinator
Robert Gordon University
Throughout my placement, I was involved in running the assessment centres and initiated a project to automate the process. As an International Business student, travelling to the Frankfurt office provided me with an international experience, enabling me to relate the theory I learned at university and put it into practise. At FDM, I found a new interest in programming and I now have the confidence to develop my technical skills. Everyone has been helpful and great to work with. If you have a vision, FDM will support you and let you accomplish it.

Rohan Mangat
Data Analyst
University of Bath
I’m proud to have completed challenging tasks such as producing fact sheets and reports for senior staff and the FDM executives. I also worked alongside the Business Intelligence team to manage Power BI dashboards. During my time at FDM I have improved not only my data analysis skills but also time management skills, which will be incredibly beneficial moving forward. I enjoyed working on new tasks that encouraged me to step outside of my comfort zone and boost my confidence in the workplace. My team made it very easy to settle in and enabled me to gain a wealth of knowledge from the get-go.

Tanhiyat Islam
Academy Administrator
Royal Holloway University of London
I have learnt many valuable new skills during my placement year such as problem solving and technical skills and also improved my teamwork and interpersonal skills. Throughout my placement, I was exposed to various areas of the business and was able to apply what I have learnt at university to my work, which was extremely helpful. My team was amazing and everyone I’ve met at FDM is always ready to help and support their fellow colleagues.
