Why Choose the FDM Career Development Program?

Our two-year career development program gives you the opportunity to kick-start your career in technology with some of the world’s largest and well-known organizations in banking and finance, blockchain, consulting services, insurance, and retail.

Working in an entry-level consulting job, you will become an integral part of our clients’ teams and work on exciting projects. This could involve complex trade applications for global banks, new applications to optimize key operational systems for airlines, developing new entertainment channels for broadcast media or helping to improve critical government services that millions of US citizens depend on daily.

How does the FDM Career Development Program work?

The FDM Career Development Program starts with a comprehensive 6-14 week training schedule through the FDM academy, led by our expert team, and offers the opportunity to achieve industry-recognized certifications depending on the career pathway you choose. The training will develop both your technical and professional skills and will allow you to experience an agile working environment where you will be presented with real-world challenges to solve.

After successfully completing your training, you will begin your two-year career journey and will be placed with one of our global clients in an entry-level job. Here you will be able to gain invaluable hands-on experience and add some leading brands to your resume.

We provide you with ongoing support and guidance throughout your whole career journey: from the day you become an FDM trainee until the end of your placement as a fully-fledged consultant thriving on client site. Our goal is happy and successful placements for both our consultants and clients, which is why we will be there for you every step of the way.

I really enjoy the variety of projects I get to work on on-site. I am also given the time to focus on my own professional development and take charge of my future. While on-site I have been working on a project for Network Rail with another developer. Straight away I was able to develop, liaise with the SMEs and see a robot in a live system. As this project had three robots but only two developers, I also got to take over responsibility for one of these robots while it was successfully moved into the live system.
