What our consultants say
Business Intelligence Developer at Drax Power
I am part of a 3-man BI developer team and my main duties are revolved around reporting, particularly PowerBI and SSRS. Some of my day to day activities include project work, report building and maintenance and understanding user requirements for reporting purposes. I enjoy the variety of projects and the work I get to do. I’m currently responsible for running the PowerBI training at the company for users wanting to use this technology in their roles.
National University of Ireland Galway
I have been part of a Scrum team responsible for creating a strategic risk platform to enable enhanced risk reporting for the business. My role has involved data analysis, design and creation of a database and providing detailed mappings for the ETL process, bringing data from source to target. I am continuously challenged every day and I have learned so much in the short time I’ve been here.
The two things I enjoy the most in my role are constantly meeting and working with new people from different areas of the business and using SQL to investigate data in the warehouse in order to solve problems.
