FDM’s Everywoman in Technology Awards 2020 is open for nominations. The awards, entering their tenth year, celebrate inspirational women working in the STEM sector. Previous winners include leaders in the fields of nanoscience, software engineering, and entrepreneurship. The theme for 2020 is Achieve, Elevate and Inspire.

Our CEO Sheila Flavell, quoted in Education Technology magazine, has this to say of the awards:

“It’s incredibly exciting to celebrate the 10th anniversary of these important awards which celebrate the achievements of women in the technology sector.

“This milestone underlines the hard work and persistence of so many people in the IT industry and sets a great example for the next generation of female talent. We are very proud to support this important event and provide a platform for the female tech innovators and entrepreneurs who have gone above and beyond in their respective organisations.”

You can follow news of the awards at @everywomanUK on Twitter, and by using hashtags #ewTechAwards and #WomenDoTech. Nominations close on 7 October 2019 and it is completely free to vote. Visit the Everywoman website to find out more.
