FDM Consultants Wins AppDynamics Award

Ten FDM Consultants, from across Europe, were recently honoured with the Top Global Team Award for their exemplary work onsite at one of our clients, AppDynamics.

AppDynamics is an Application Performance Management service, managing the performance and availability of applications and offers real time insights into the user experience.  FDM have been partnering with them since 2016.

The award was given in recognition of the excellent standard of work all Consultants have displayed, working across many different high profile and multi-million pound projects.  We caught up with a few of the team members to hear about their experiences so far.

Working with AppDynamics has given me the opportunity to gain insight into many different companies and how they operate.  My role allows me to work on many external projects with their clients.

FDM is an excellent way of entering the industry and gaining experience. It’s a great opportunity in being able to develop professional skills and commercial awareness. I trained in London on the Java software development stream and while it was intense, I knew it would definitely be worthwhile.

My one piece of advice to others looking for a career in tech is; be passionate and you will succeed.

At AppDynamics I am work on System Monitoring, on boarding new projects and troubleshooting our application in different settings.  This is my first placement after completing FDM’s Application Support training in Frankfurt and London.

FDM provides opportunities and opens the door to the working world for fresh graduates and young professionals like myself. They give you the necessary training to succeed in the IT sector.

My role with AppDynamics Germany has given me the chance to get to know the internal part of one of the biggest automobile companies in the country.  The opportunity to continuously learn new skills and solve real problems onsite is my favourite aspect of this role.

My one piece of advice to others; learning is the way to do it, just be patient and always give the very best in whatever you do.  Your chance will come.
