Risk, Regulation and Compliance Analysts (RRC) are forecasters and navigators. Working mainly in the financial sector, they use their commercial knowledge and experience to identify potential risks, safeguard assets against threat and analyse an organisation’s capacity for success within the industry. Samantha Looi
Business Analyst
Monash University
Currently, I’m working as a Business Analyst in Open Banking, which is a government requirement for major banks to facilitate data sharing between other banks and third parties, such as budgeting tools. What I learnt from this role was that as a BA, the most transferrable skills are good organization and communication. Technical knowledge is a great asset to have, but I believe the soft skills are what a BA needs first, to be able to effectively assist a team.

Michael Jordan
Data Migration Consultant
Macquarie University
With little experience in the technology industry, FDM’s training program gave me the tools necessary to excel in this line of work. Apart from meeting great work colleagues, FDM gave me an opportunity to work for a large consultancy firm, dealing with a variety of clients and exposing me to potential career opportunities in strategy, risk or project management.

Chermaine Sin
Project Assistant
University of Leeds
FDM provided the training for me to gain relevant technical knowledge, including SQL, Excel, data warehouse and Power BI. I am now working as a project assistant. I mainly monitor multiple projects for the solution delivery team, which involves various projects, from new e-exam platforms to updating the departmental website.
