Andrew Martin
Software Engineer
University of Adelaide
I am in a full stack role that primarily involves coding pages from wireframe designs, adding functionalities and general code implementations. I enjoy coding functionalities for our systems, especially if it requires some deep thought and problem solving as it makes it even more satisfying when I arrive at a solution.

IT Engineer
RMIT University
FDM offers a good experience and opportunity to get into the IT industry. From the very beginning they support and train you, ensuring you have essential base skills that you further build upon when working for a client company. FDM’s training not only taught me essential technical skills, it also taught me professional skills, giving me an understanding of the social and cultural norms of a workplace. I found that this boosted my confidence particularly when I had my interview and moved on-site.

Alex De Lacey
Technical Business Analyst
University of Sydney
I felt my economics degree hadn’t equipped me with the technical skills I would need to do so. I saw FDM as an opportunity to learn these new skills and make industry connections, and I haven’t looked back since. FDM gave me the confidence to tackle difficult technical problems. The coding modules in my course taught me that these challenges aren’t as scary as they first seem when they’re broken down into smaller manageable components, understood and then put back together.
