Deliver business change with our Project Management Graduate Programme

Why choose the Project Management Graduate Programme at FDM?

As an FDM Project Management Consultant, you will plan, manage and execute important projects from start to finish, keeping them on track and ensuring their success.

The FDM Project Management Programme will provide you with training to work with our clients in one of two distinct functions: either as a PMO Analyst, working in a central function, providing assurances and governance over a number of projects across a portfolio or programme, or as a Project Support Officer, helping to deliver a project alongside a Project Manager. In both cases, you will be heavily involved in project planning, scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management, progress and budget tracking.

We provide support at every stage of your career with us to ensure you have all the guidance you need to thrive in your new role. Find out more about our support system.

What you’ll do on the Project Management Graduate Programme

As an FDM Project Management Consultant, you will learn the drivers of business change and how to initiate, plan, control and monitor the delivery of a project. Working alongside more experienced Project Management professionals, you will develop a deep understanding of the Project Life Cycle, Waterfall and Agile methodologies and how to accelerate and support a change initiative to completion.

A career in Project Management could see you working with large clients in many different sectors, executing digital transformation initiatives or supporting organisational structural change. You may be responsible for managing internal projects, such as the implementation of a new CRM system like Salesforce or Workday, or supporting the development of customer-focused software and solutions.
